Halloween

Although we will not be celebrating Halloween with our community this year, we can still do something small with our cohorts and drop little gifts off for our little neighbors. I’m not a big decorator for Halloween, but I do love an excuse to enjoy Kit Kats and Snicker bars.

Pumpkin Sourdough Bread

I love the look of this boule. Just a little butcher’s twine before you bake the bread gives you this great presentation for the fall.

Halloween Candy Cookies

When you can’t let your family eat another candy bar, take them all and make these cookies. You can pop some in the freezer for later too.

BOO

Someone in my neighborhood started this when my kids were little. It was so exciting for them to receive the treats, but even better when they got to drop a gift off for another kid. We would go when it got dark and drop the treats off, ring the doorbell and run. I just loved their giggles as we watched from a distance as the neighbor opened the door to find the treats. Maple Glazed Brown Sugar Cookies

This adorable cookies are perfect for Halloween through Thanksgiving. Don’t be surprised if you see them at Christmas too in a different shape. They are that easy and that good.
